"Setup was way more annoying than it needed to be"
I tried using XSplit for streaming, the setup took way longer than it should have. Like, I’m not expecting magic, but why am I digging through menus and watching random videos just to get basic audio working properly?

The app itself looks nice, so I’ll give it that, but the configuration feels messy if you’re not already familiar with it. My mic and camera kept switching after I restarted, which is exactly the kind of thing that makes you question your life choices mid-setup.

It did work eventually, so it’s not a total disaster, but it definitely wasn’t smooth. For something as basic as getting a stream ready, I expected way less hassle and way fewer “why is this happening?” moments.

"I’ve had a good experience..."
I’ve had a good experience with it so far. It seems to work on most of the platforms I use, at least from what I’ve tried. I’m not sure if I’ve tested every situation perfectly, but overall the compatibility has been solid...

"Confusing setup and slow to get help"
I tried getting XSplit set up and got confused quickly. The menus felt kind of scattered, and even simple things took way longer than I expected. I was also hoping for a faster response when I needed help, which made the whole experience more frustrating. Maybe it clicks for other people, but for me it just felt like too much hassle

"Pretty solid most of the time"
I've been using it for a while, it's stable day to day. Crashes don't happen often, which is a nice change

"Runs lighter than I expected"
I’ve been using XSplit for streaming and the occasional screen recording, it runs a lot lighter than I expected. I’ve used other recording software in the past that made my PC sound like it was about to take off, so I was surprised that my CPU stayed calm even with my webcam and overlays running.

It did take a little tweaking in the settings at first, but once I got it dialed in, everything felt smooth. My games don’t feel laggy while I’m streaming, and the recordings have been coming out clean. So far, I’m really happy with it.

"The support team was really helpful..."
The support team was really helpful and got my issue sorted out fast. I did go in expecting the instructions to be a bit clearer upfront, but once I reached out, they handled everything quickly and made the process easy.

"Pretty good streaming, with a few hiccups"
Most days, the streaming works fine and the picture quality is decent enough for me. Every now and then it’ll lag or drop a few frames, which can get a little frustrating, especially if I’m really into what I’m watching. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I do wish it was a bit more consistent. When it runs smoothly, I’m happy with it.

"XSplit has a lot of useful features..."
XSplit has a lot of useful features for streaming and recording, and setting up scenes is straightforward. That said, some of the settings took me way longer to figure out than I expected. It works well once everything is set, but getting there can feel like more effort than it should be...

"Worth it for what you pay"
I've been using XSplit for a bit now, the price feels reasonable. It handles what I need it to do without charging some ridiculous amount, which is nice. I mean, for the features you get and the way it runs... yeah, I've been happy with it overall.

"Recording quality has been really solid"
I’ve been using XSplit mostly to record game clips and a few tutorial videos, the quality has been really solid. Like I said, I’m mainly using it for recordings, not streaming, and it’s been doing exactly what I need.

The video looks sharp when I play it back, and I haven’t had issues with weird blur, stuttering, or lag in the final file. The audio stays synced too, which is a big deal for me because I’ve had other programs mess that up before.

It did take a little trial and error with the settings at first, but once I got everything dialed in, it’s been easy to use. Like I said, the recording quality has been great so far, and I’m happy with it
